Residential Flooring
"Very impressed by the entire process. Our carpet is beautiful, soft, and comfortable. The design expert helped us with picking out the color and even suggested it because of its tones. It matches perfectly and opens up the space so much. The installers were quick and did a wonderful job. They even helped us move furniture around. Overall, great company and great service!"

"Tile was installed in four rooms. When the carpet was taken out, there was damage to one floor. They repaired that floor and installed the tile in all four rooms. The workmen were diligent, careful, and professional. The owner, Deb, couldn't have been better. Due to the damage to the floor, the job took longer than anticipated, but that did not change the level of service we received. We would definitely hire this group again and recommend them without hesitation to anyone needing tile installed."

"Jon and Kim are excellent to work with. They are very professional and were extremely helpful in making our vision a reality. My wife wanted to paint a guest room. That turned into shiplap on two bedroom walls, new floors and we also remodeled the master bath. This project ended up being much more than a couple cans of paint. The project turned out perfectly! Kim helped us pick things out and sought out outstanding deals on materials. Jon and crew did fantastic quality work. I would recommend Prestwick Homes to anyone who wants to have a stress free building experience."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
